Our mission is to provide quality training and other services in a timely, cost-effective manner in a technical environment.
LTS builds training materials step-by-step, from needs and task analyses all the way trough the development and production of materials for students and instructors. Our team teaches instructor-led sessions in the classroom and over the web. We develop e-Learning products. We can customize training courses, train trainers, design training centers, or act as a virtual training department.
We develop reports on databases using several report writers. LTS can create utilities and productivity tools using a variety of programming and scripting languages. We write technical documentation.
We have extensive experience in call / contact center training, programming, administration, and implementation.
Our history
Lakeside Transaction Services, Inc., is a Massachusetts company, incorporated in 1988. The founders had in-depth experience in several Massachusetts high-technology companies before starting LTS.
From the beginning, LTS developed and presented custom training classes specializing in Stratus computers. Over the years, LTS has moved to develop and teach courses and provide other services for companies in many other areas of technology, including storage technology, video modems, network appliances, and broadband routers.
For over a decade, LTS has been the training department for a manufacturer of contact centers. We have provided all course development and teaching, at the training center, on-site, and over the web. We have administered the training center, installing and maintaining software (UNIX and Windows-based). We have developed reports for the standard product release, as well as custom reports for customers. We have provided custom utilities for their customers, and have developed custom programming of contact flow. LTS is very familiar with all aspects of call / contact centers of all sizes, from a half dozen to hundreds of seats.
LTS was the original developer of LTS/OnGuard, a security solution for VOS, the Stratus operating system. We developed, marketed, and supported the product as it was licensed by banks, stock exchanges, credit-card processing companies, department stores and other businesses around the world. Several years ago, LTS spun off LTS/OnGuard to Transaction Design, Inc., a provider of performance solutions for a wide range of computer systems.
