Instructor-led Training
We teach classes that lead students to an understanding of the tasks they need to master.
It takes more than an in-depth knowledge of the technical topics to conduct a successful training class. By understanding how adults learn, we use a student's questions and comments to take them from where they are in understanding to where they need to be. Using a combination of explanation, discussion, and demonstration, we prepare the students for success when they move to hands-on exercises and practice.
You might decide that your technical expert should focus on other parts of the business, not conducting training. Or, your skilled instructors may be busy with other training duties. If you don't have an instructor for your class, LTS can solve the problem for you.
Stand up teaching
From North America to Europe, Asia, and Australia, we have taught a broad variety of technical topics to students everywhere. We are known for our willingness to take on student questions and bring them to resolution, as well as a "let's try it" attitude in the lab.
To learn more about how we have helped businesses with their instructor needs, you can read about teaching a performance class for a storage manufacturer. or teaching an adapter programming class for a computer manufacturer.
Distance learning
The traditional class taught in a training center is an important tool in your curriculum. However, it is becoming increasingly more productive to deliver training over the internet to students in remote locations.
The cost savings when no one has to travel can quickly justify the costs of delivering the training from a distance. The course topics can be divided into modules of learning, allowing you to spread training over a convenient period of time, instead of making business come to a halt while everyone sits in a class. Training can be conducted simultaneously in multiple sites, allowing everyone to be trained at once.
We have successfully conducted distance learning sessions using:
- WebEx
- PlaceWare
- MeetingPlace
- RainDance
